Click here to download version 2 of the demo.
Here it is. Sorry for going down on you guys earlier. Anyway this demo has been updated with the following:
-Brand new static movement engine. Amy moves a little more realistically now. Or rather, just doesn’t use MMF2’s shoddy built in movement.
-Consequently, pass through platforms have been removed until I can work out how to do those with a static engine.
-Jumping to dodge bubbles is now a viable option. *HINTHINT*
-Bubbles only travel upward upon breaking. Fewer cheap deaths.
-Power ups added. Shield, Freeze, and Heart Limit +
-Consequently base Heart Limit has been reduced to 2.
-New final stats screens.
-Levels have been changed up a little.
Enjoy.

Yo. Hasn’t been a whole lot to write about lately… okay fine I’m just a lazy son of a biscuit who would rather play games and go to work and hang out with people and stuff.
Anyway where to start? I’m sure you guys all heard about those guys who did the 48 hour Zelda marathon, followed by the follow up, well a couple friends and I are going to attempt a 48 hour Metroid Marathon. Yes, its ridiculous, and we’re honestly not sure if we can do it, but it will be fun. I already acquired everything, a Gameboy player, VC copies of Super Metroid and Metroid, 3 primes, Fusion and Zero mission, and a copy of Metroid II on the way. Fun times await. Actually I’m not sure when we’ll do it, but hopefully before someone else does.
Brawl was delayed… again.
By the way, you don’t have to be registered to comment anymore. So comment already.

Apologies for the big break *pulls out every lame excuse in the book*
Anyway now that I have covered my ass, its time for me to ramble! So uhh rambling… thinking about getting a laptop, as well as a PSP, both of which have various uses for entertainment value. (Ones a good homebrewing tool and the other would just make lan gaming that much easier.) I’m still debating about either one. Speaking of PSPs, apparently the new redesigned PSP is coming out this month. This news actually intrigues me considering the DS didn’t start dominating the handheld market until the DS Lite came out, so I wonder if the tides will turn for Sony? (Of course Sony only tells use shipped numbers, so we’ll never know.)
In other news, remember that article about the Wii needing to some decent exclusive games? Well the arguement still stands. Recent Wii news has been rather lacking, and I am starting to think that I made a mistake in purchasing a Wii first. It may be selling like mad, but most of the games for it have just turned out to be really cheap gimmicks. The only good Wii games seem to be 1st party games. If it really wasn’t for Smash Bros and the Virtual Console, I would have sold that little thing by now.
Yeah I’m lost here, oh but try this drink (If you are of age) and tell me what you think…
1 part UV Blue
1 part Apple Pucker
Fresca
Now that I’m 21 I’ll be hitting the mixology (a.k.a. fancy word for bartending) experiments first hand, and would like opinions.

I was going to write a long review saying how awesome Puzzle Quest is. (It arrived on Saturday) but to be honest… I’m too busy playing it to tell you. There is alot of depth to the game. I’ll try to get to something later, but if you see this rare game, go out and buy it! It may be the only chance you get!

Okay so I get on SFGHQ’s forums and I read some amazing news:

Could it be? No, it is not Sonic in Brawl at all. But if this game is not an elaborate April Fool’s gag, then I will be a very happy person. Sonic and Mario in the same game? I’m set. To make things better, the game is being developed by Sega’s sports game department with Shigeru Miyamota (of Nintendo) supervising the product.
Now someone announce Sonic in Brawl already!

Okay so a few days ago there was this huge deal with rumors of a sequel to the Sega Saturn title, NiGHTs into Dreams flying about. (no pun intended) And now as I get up to check my torrent progress it has apparently been confirmed.
I’m not familiar with the validity of either one of those websites, for all I know they could be about as valid as wikipedia, and we know how that is. But for now I guess all I can do is squee in fanboyish delight.
I loved NiGHTs… when I got my Sega Saturn two years ago. It was quite an entertaining game, however it did wear out quite fast and eventually I sold the Saturn and my games to a much more deserving person. Still, if a sequel was finally made, I would be quite happy. I’m sure that the Wii controller would be used in some fascinating way, although I cannot think of anything at the moment. This leads to my next point though…
Let’s face it, so far games for the Wii have been terribly average. If the game has not been designed by Nintendo itself, then chances are the games use of the Wii controller is somewhere between subpar and decent. I know it is still early in the console’s life, but thrid party developers really need to pick up the pace and start utilizing the Wii to its’ full potential. Otherwise, the Wii lineup may be limited to Brawl and Galaxy this year.
Oh yeah not sure how well we can rely on this but I wouldn’t mind if that was true too.

So a few days ago my parents gave me the ultimatium: go back to college or get out of the house. I have until June 30 to pack my bags. And thus, begins a new adventure for me. (Why did I get stuck with this though?) So I guess that will make for some interesting stories and posts now, hell maybe I can even add pictures and what not!
Still, Chris gets to go to Japan and Jesse gets to go to London, and I get stuck trying to find a 1k housing unit. This would be so much easier if my grandma owned a hotel that was converted into a girl’s dorm… yeah I said it.
Anyway with that said, I really don’t have much else to say right now. I’m really not in the mood to review a game or something. So I’ll go listen to Bananaphone.

Okay, once again, another clean slate. All articles have been deleted and I can go about to starting this blog up once again. Yep… Okay I’m still at a loss for what to write about. At risk of sounding like a total gamer, Sonic and the Secret Rings is shipped today, so I might see if I can pick that up today (or more likely tomorrow) and I can do a quick first impression review of that.
Otherwise I am totally stuck for a topic here. What do I write? Well I just finished watching the first remastered release of Dragon Ball Z, but I’m sure everyone has heard enough of that series. Oh I know what to write about now!
Problem is I don’t feel like it at the moment. Maybe later… I can see I’m off to a great start…
